Today I present you with Hiraikotsu, an boomerang look alike weapon but twice bigger than a boomerang. It is made up of various kinds of demon bones.
Hiraikotsu belongs to Sango, one of the main character in Inuyasha’s anime series. She is from a demon hunter tribe that was annihilated by Naraku. Sango then follow Kagome and uses her weapon Hiraikotsu to help eliminate Naraku’s minion and youkai.
Most of the guides available on internet is how to make Hiraikotsu using foam or plywood. I think this is the only guide I found that uses paper to make Hiraikotsu. The scale is at 1:1 which means you could use it for cosplay.
