Dragon Quest 9 Kiramashin

Kiramashin is one of the boss in Dragon Quest 9 which is available on Nintendo Dsi console. For some reason this looks like one of Sword Art Online’s bosses. I remember kirito did fight one boss using the same type of sword with the same type of eye , except that boss is a goat ? I could be wrong.
